WAVE stands out as the leading workgroup communication tool in the industry, offering robust PTT capabilities while on the move. It converts smartphones, tablets, and PCs into efficient team communication devices, integrating seamlessly with land mobile radio (LMR) for unified voice, text messaging, location tracking, and presence display within a single application.

WAVE Tactical Communicator is utilized within the WAVE Tactical System from Motorola, a highly scalable, feature-rich enterprise-grade PTT solution. This software solution enables full interoperability among different radio systems and extends their reach across various broadband networks and devices.

WAVE Tactical Communicator is fully compatible with WAVE Server Release 5.19.1 onwards and operates in the following environments:
<ul>
	<li>Public cellular networks for Managed Mobile Devices configured in Supervised mode.</li>
	<li>Private cellular networks.</li>
	<li>Pre-configured Wi-Fi networks.</li>
	<li>Via a VPN over Wi-Fi and cellular networks.</li>
</ul>

Note: Configuring Wi-Fi in App Settings is necessary for Wi-Fi network usage. Continuous use of GPS in the background may significantly impact battery life.
